Reservations:

All reservations or pre bookings require a deposit to be paid so as to ensure the booking is confirmed. Once the deposit has been paid this is non refundable. The amount to be paid will depend on each booking however the max. will be 50% of the total booking. The remainder will be payable in resort/to Island Boarders on the first  day.  Deposits can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or into a bank account which can be provided upon booking. All bookings made within 14 days of arrival the deposit must be paid by credit card. There are handling charges for accepting Credit cards in resort however these charges are waivered on all deposit payments.

Island Boarders have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that all component parts of holidays booked by clients are supplied as relevant to our price lists/ information and that all suppliers of these are of an acceptable standard. Island Boarders have no direct control over such organizations/ persons not directly employed by Island Boarders and shall not be liable for any acts or omissions by them or their employees. Island Boarders have a Third Party and Public Liability insurance that covers clients ONLY during the practice of surf courses/tours booked and supervised by an Island boarders member of staff during working hours; however on booking with Island Boarders and thus entering into a contract with us its is each clients responsibility to have an adequate holiday insurance as well as personal accident insurance for any injuries they may sustain whilst practising water sports during their time at Island Boarders.

 

Cancellations/Refunds:

Island Boarders operate a strict NO Refund Policy on all bookings. On payment of deposit and confirmation of booking the client and Island Boarders enter into a contract. Under this contract we offer the following cancellation charges and a no refund policy. No refunds are applicable for no shows, cancellations, not being contactable etc. There is also no refund for any other services offered by Island Boarders such as car hire, accommodation rental or equipment rental, any special courses or offers.

Prior to arrival: 50% or deposit payment in full

From 1st day of holiday: 100%

 

Complaints

In the event that a client wishes to complain about any aspect of their holiday the client should take this up with a responsible member of staff from Island Boarders (Rachel/ Ben/ IB Manager) in resort. If the matter cannot be resolved satisfactorily then the clients should complain in writing whilst on holiday to Island Boarders. Island Boarders will not be liable after the client has returned home if this system is not followed up.

 Arrangements for holidays are made months in advance, however some changes may become necessary and Island Boarders reserves the right to make changes at any time. If Island Boarders is unable to provide the accommodation booked it will reserve the right to substitute alternative accommodation of a similar or higher standard. As much of accommodation is not officially classified, similar standard accommodation will be deemed to be that of the same price, have the same facilities and be located in the same resort. Provided we receive notification of changes we will advise you as soon as possible. Under such circumstances should the client cancel their holiday this would be subject to the normal cancellation charges. Should the changes be that they differ to a great extent to the original holiday booked i.e. change of resort, lower standard accommodation etc... Island Boarders will endeavor to offer an alternative arrangement or refund of cost difference or cancel the holiday and provide a full refund of monies. In certain circumstances cancellation may be necessary and Island Boarders reserve the right to in our absolute discretion cancel any holiday and in this instance the clients will be refunded the total amount or offered an alternative stay for other dates.

Island Boarders will not be responsible for Force Majeure circumstances.
